This privacy policy sets out how Major Bakes uses and protects any information that you give us when you use our services.

Major Bakes is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

What we collect and why

To fulfil your order, you must provide certain information such as your name, email address, postal address and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (such as other people’s names or dates of birth, preferences or interests).

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with the product you wish to order, and in particular for the following reasons:

Internal record keeping.
We may use the information to improve our products and services.
We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes.

If you do not require to go ahead with booking our services and we have filed out a booking form, then after 3 months all personal details apart from your name will be discarded.

How we use cookies

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Information about our customers is important. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

Facebook. If you contact me through my Facebook page, your data will be shared with Facebook according to their Terms of Use.
Service providers, for example Royal Mail and Paypal. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services, such as delivery of goods. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.
Business transfers. If I sell or merge my business, I may disclose your information as part of that transaction, only to the extent permitted by law.

We generally keep your data for 5 years after a service has been provided.
